The Senate scored a “very good” rating of +68 during the fourth quarter (Q4) 2022 SWS survey conducted last December 10 to 14, 2022.

The survey showed “very good” to “excellent” net satisfaction ratings on different regions with +81 in Mindanao, +68 in Balance Luzon, +63 in Metro Manila, and +59 in Visayas.

In a press release on Sunday, April 9, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri expressed his gratitude to the public.

“I thank our people for their trust, not only in their senators but also the Senate as an institution. We always strive to uphold the Senate as the ultimate bastion of democracy, and it is good to know that we have thus far been able to live up to the public’s trust,” he said.

The survey also showed the net satisfaction for other government branches with +56 for the House of Representatives, +53 for the Supreme Court, and +50 for the Cabinet.

The Senate rating in the Q4 2022 SWS survey is now the highest Senate rating since 1988.

The survey polled 1,200 adults nationwide with 300 respondents each from Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. –ag
