A Philippine National Railways (PNR) train that went off the rails in Makati earlier this week is back on track as of 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, the PNR said.

The train derailment took place past the Don Bosco crossing on Tuesday, April 18.

Track restoration and safety assessment were conducted starting April 20 midnight until dawn, while test runs were set among rail lines to ensure their safety.

These will be followed by line safety clearance.

The PNR will issue a new schedule for trips from Gov. Pascual to Tutuban, and from Tutuban to Calamba. – cf
