In the works: ‘Bar Boys’ musical

The musical version of the 2017 movie “Bar Boys” is currently in progress, as confirmed by the film’s official Facebook page.

According to the post, the hit musical “Mula sa Buwan” director and writer Pat Valera is set to adapt and write the script for the musical.

Valera also confirmed the news on social media.

“Loading.. #BarBoysTheMusical,” he wrote.

“Bar Boys” is a comedy-drama film about the stories of four law students.

The film was directed and written by Kip Oebanda, starring Enzo Pineda, Carlo Aquino, Kean Cipriano, and Rocco Nacino. 

In 2020, the film was released for free streaming on YouTube. – cf
