Metro Manila is now deemed “moderate risk” for COVID-19 following a decline in the number of infections, according to OCTA Research Group.
In a tweet, OCTA Research Group fellow Dr. Guidon David bared that the one-week testing positivity rate of Metro Manila dropped to 19.9% or “moderate” as of May 30.
It was at 24.4% or “high” on May 23.
“COVID-19 hospital beds occupied decreased slightly over the same period, and remaining at low occupancy,” David said in a tweet.
On Wednesday, May 31, the Department of Health reported 1,279 additional COVID-19 cases in the country, bringing the active COVID-19 cases to 14,838.
