The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and localized thunderstorms will bring cloudy skies and rains across the country on Monday, June 19, the state weather bureau said.

In its morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

These may trigger possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA weather specialist Obet Badrina said Luzon is expected to experience generally fair weather conditions, although rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail from afternoon to evening.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said no low pressure is being monitored.

“Ibig sabihin, wala pa rin tayong bagyong inaasahan sa mga susunod na araw,” he said.
