The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) may bring cloudy skies and scattered rains over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on Thursday, June 22, the state weather bureau said.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Central Visayas, Southern Leyte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga due to the ITCZ.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ or localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA Weather Specialist Patrick Del Mundo said a low pressure area may form inside the Philippine area of responsibility due to the active ITCZ.
