16-year-old killed in Baguio landslide

A 16-year-old boy was killed in a landslide in Bakakeng Central, Baguio City after Typhoon “Egay” battered Northern Luzon on Wednesday, June 26.

According to the Baguio City Police Office, the landslide, which happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, trapped three people inside a house.

Members of the search and rescue team were able to retrieve two individuals, a 59-year-old male construction worker and his 48-year-old wife.

Their 16-year-old son, meanwhile, was trapped in his room. He was found lifeless and retrieved around 12:25 p.m. – cf
