Free bus rides to PH Arena offered on Gilas’ opening game

Free bus rides going to Philippine Arena will be offered to fans who will watch Gilas Pilipinas’ opening game against Dominican Republic.

Tournament organizers will be deploying 400 49-seater buses from 12 strategic take off points:

  • PITX
  • MOA Arena
  • One Ayala
  • BGC Market Market Bus Terminal
  • Araneta
  • Trinoma
  • Clover Leaf Ayala
  • SM Mega Mall
  • SM North
  • SM Pampanga
  • SM Baliwag

The free shuttle bus rides are scheduled to depart from each boarding terminal at 11:00 a.m. and 12 noon, and hourly from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Philippines is eyeing to set a new attendance record on the opening game between Gilas Pilipinas and Dominican Republic.

It is eyeing to break the highest attendance recorded at the FIBA World Cup set during the 1994 finals between the United States and Russia in Toronto, Canada at 32,616.
