Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila on All Saints’ Day due to a low pressure area (LPA) and the shear line, the weather bureau said Wednesday.

In its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA over the coastal waters of Caramoran, Catanduanes, along with the shear line affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, will also bring cloudy skies and scattered rains over mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Bulacan, Calabarzon, Marinduque, and Camarines Norte.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or “amihan” affecting the rest of Northern and Central Luzon will bring cloudy skies with rains over the Cordillera region, Nueva Ecija, and the rest of Cagayan Valley, it said.

The Ilocos region and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The Visayas, Mindanao, the rest of Mimaropa, and the rest of the Bicol region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25°C to 31°C; Baguio City, 16°C to 24°C; Laoag City, 23°C to 34°C; Legazpi City, 25°C to 30°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 32°C; Puerto Princesa City, 26°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 34°C.
