The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will launch an infomercial under the “Bagong Pilipinas” campaign to promote responsible viewership.

This after the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), and the Office of the Executive Secretary (OES) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on Tuesday.

Signatories to the MOA were acting PCO Secretary Cesar Chavez, MTRCB Chairperson Diorella Maria Sotto-Antonio, PIA Director General Katherine Chloe de Castro, and OES ASec. Jose Marcell Canlas.

The “Tara, Nood Tayo!” infomercial seeks to encourage Filipinos to support locally produced movies and television shows, according to the PCO.

The PCO said that the “Responsableng Panonood tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas” campaign also aims to empower the public “to become responsible and informed adults for their children towards discerning viewership.”

The infomercial would be shown in movie theaters prior to screening time and on television as well as uploaded on social media platforms, digital media, and traditional broadcast media.
