The government will continue providing assistance to crisis-hit Filipinos even after Christmas, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured Monday, reiterating the administration’s commitment to aid those in need until they have finally recovered.

This, as the President led the distribution of gift packs in separate events at the Manila Boys Town Complex in Marikina and Marillac Hills and Haven for Women in Muntinlupa.

The Chief Executive handed over sacks of rice to residents as well as food packs, medicines, vitamins, toiletries, and infant supplies.

In a short message, Marcos assured that the government will exhaust all means possible to ensure that every Filipino will experience a “merry Christmas” this year despite global challenges and adversities affecting the nation.

He also reminded the public that the local government units and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) are always ready to support distressed Filipinos.
