Are you ready for the digital future?

As artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we live, work, and create, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Youth Organization (AYO) – Philippines is set to conduct a special “Hour of Code” session on Sunday, aimed at introducing the power of AI, coding, and computer science to the next generation of leaders—the Filipino youth.

The Hour of Code, which was launched by Code.org and has since become a global movement, is part of the AI-ready ASEAN initiative of the ASEAN Youth Organization in partnership with Google.org.

Through the event, participants will get to learn from the experts in technology and education as well as gain practical knowledge on AI and coding basics, which will help them thrive in the digital economy.

“In today’s era, where artificial intelligence and digital literacy are essential skills, this initiative provides the perfect first step into the world of technology,” the AYO Philippines said.

Moreover, the program also encourages the youth to explore learning opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and AI.

Aside from the youth, the event is also open to parents, young professionals, or educators, even those who do not have prior coding experience—as long as you are willing to learn and spark your inner curiosity, you are welcome to register here: https://forms.gle/v6Juwks6FvyvtCJo8.

The Hour of Code will be streamed live via Zoom and YouTube from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Free e-certificates will also be given to all participants.

So, what are you waiting for? Step into the world of AI now and get empowered with digital skills in technology and innovation!
