4 drug suspects fall in Nueva Ecija sting

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Four drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay MS Garcia, Cabanatuan City, Sunday.

Reports reaching here identified the arrested suspects as Apolinario Zapata, 29, of Barangay Buliran; Antonio Basa, 40 of Barangay MS Garcia; Riza Peralta, 38, of Barangay Josep Sur; all in Cabanatuan City and Raffy Mangawang, 27, of Barangay Valle, Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

Another drug suspect, Loida Javier of MS Garcia, was able to elude arrest.

The suspects were arrested by Cabanatuan City police and Special Drug Enforcement Unit during a buy-bust operation in Barangay MS Garcia.

Confiscated from them were four sachets of “shabu” or methamphetamine hydrochloride and PHP500 marked money. (PNA)
