Northeast monsoon, easterlies to bring isolated rains Friday

MANILA—The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (PAGASA) said the northeast monsoon affecting northern Luzon and the easterlies affecting the eastern section of the country would bring isolated rains Friday.

The regions of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos region, and Cordillera and Aurora province will have cloudy skies with scattered rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Eastern Visayas and Caraga would have cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms. Winds from northern Luzon will be strong to gale and coastal waters will be rough to very rough. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
