Central Luzon police gets 16 new motorcycles

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon) on Monday received a big boost in its anti-criminality efforts after receiving 16 newly-acquired motorcycles from the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Logistics Support Service.

The motorcycles were turned over to the Angeles and Olongapo City police offices and blessed after the regular flag-raising ceremony at PRO-3’s parade grounds here.

Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, PRO-3 director, called the arrival of the motorcycles very timely since several pro-active anti-criminality campaigns of PRO-3 are in effect, especially the campaign against motorcycle-riding suspects and the round-the-clock conduct of anti-criminality checkpoints and mobile patrolling.

He urged members of PRO-3 to provide the people of Central Luzon the quality police service that is expected of them and to always go the extra mile in serving the public.

“With the additional mobility, I am in no doubt that more positive accomplishments would be achieved in the future and that the public can expect the PNP PRO-3 to respond better to incidents and that the delivery of our police services would be more effective and efficient, particularly in Angeles and Olongapo,” Corpus said.

He also reminded the end-users of the motorcycles to take good care of them. (Ric Sapnu/PNA)
