NE monsoon, easterlies affecting PH: PAGASA

MANILA— The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the northeast monsoon affecting northern Luzon and the easterlies in the eastern section of the country will bring scattered rainshowers Tuesday.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA said Bicol region and the provinces of Samar, Quezon and Aurora will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

Cagayan Valley, Ilocos region and Cordillera Administrative Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will have strong gale winds coming from the northeast producing rough to very rough coastal waters. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
