PDEA 11 identified the suspect as John T. Nardo, 36, councilman of Barangay New Visayas, Panabo City, Davao del Norte.

A PDEA 11 report showed that Nardo was in the top 10 Regional and Provincial target list and also included in President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s list of barangay officials involved in the illegal drugs trade.

At around 10 p.m. on February 27, operatives of the PDEA 11 and Panabo City police implemented a search warrant at the suspect’s house at Purok Pomelo, Block 8, Quilisadio Subdivision.

Operatives found six sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known as shabu weighing about10 grams with a street value of P20,000 and assorted drug paraphernalia during the conduct of search in Nardo’s house.
