MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will conduct road repair works in the cities of Quezon and Taguig this weekend.
In a statement, DPWH-NCR Director Melvin Navarro said the road works will cover seven road sections with a total area of 3,020.15 square meters.
The undertakings will start 11 p.m. Friday (March 10) and will end 5 a.m. Monday (March 12).
Road rehabilitation and repair will be done at the northbound direction of the following roads in Quezon City: Quirino Highway, from Pagkabuhay Road to Kingspoint, inner lane; Congressional Ave. Extension, between Tandang Sora Ave. and Visayas Ave., third lane; Epifanio de los Santos Ave. (EDSA), between Oliveros St. and the Balintawak LRT Station, fifth lane.
Repairs will also be conducted along Congressional Ave., between Cagayan St. and Culiat Bridge IV, first lane; Visayas Ave., in front of PTV 4, outer lane; and A. Bonifacio Ave. from N. Zamora St. to Del Monte St., middle lane. Also included is the southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Ave. crossing Sgt. Rivera, middle lane.
Road repair will also be undertaken along the southbound direction of C-5 Road from K0015+000 to K0014+370 in Taguig City.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes due to expected traffic slowdown in these areas. (PNA)
