Cloudy skies, rain showers to prevail over PH

MANILA — Cloudy skies with rain showers will prevail over the country until Friday afternoon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its 4-p.m. weather bulletin, which is effective for 24 hours, PAGASA said the Bicol region would have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms due to the easterlies. It also cautioned of possible flooding or landslides caused by light to moderate with occasional heavy rains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will also occur in Metro Manila and the other parts of the country due to local thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will also experience moderate to rough coastal waters caused by moderate to strong winds.

Moderate to rough winds will also bring moderate to rough coastal waters in the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Other areas will have slight to moderate coastal waters brought by light to moderate winds. (PNA)
