Tail-end of cold front to bring more rains to Luzon

MANILA — The tail-end of a cold front will bring rains to Luzon until Wednesday afternoon, according to the state-run weather bureau.

In its 4-p.m. weather bulletin, which is effective for 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front.

It warned of possible floods or landslides caused by light to moderate with occasional heavy rains in these areas.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are also forecast over the Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao regions due to the easterlies. PAGASA said floods and landslides are also possible due to light to moderate with occasional heavy rains in these areas.

Metro Manila and the other parts of the country could also expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to local thunderstorms.

Slight to moderate coastal waters will prevail over the whole country pushed by light to moderate winds. (PNA)
