LAOAG CITY — At least 80 exhibitors from the 21 towns and two cities of Ilocos Norte will gather at the Laoag Centennial Arena from May 21 to 26 to showcase the latest innovative products of the province.

Edison Natividad, head of the Small and Medium Enterprise Office under the provincial government of Ilocos Norte, said Friday they have invited several small and medium entrepreneurs as well as local government units to participate in the seven-day product exhibit.

Dubbed as “Bicentennial Tienda ni Gov,” the trade fair aims to promote various quality products of the Ilocanos and showcase how these goods have evolved through the years.

Every year, exhibitors present interesting and unique products from the different cities and municipalities.

The design and packaging have also improved with the assistance of the Department of Trade and Industry and the Department of Science and Technology, among others.

This year, Natividad said, there will be a search for the best booth among local government unit-participants.
The trade fair expects to attract more local buyers and visitors. (PNA)
