Fair weather on Friday: PAGASA

MANILA — A generally fair weather is expected Friday as the ridge of a high-pressure area (HPA) and the easterlies — warm winds from the Pacific — continue to affect the country.

State weather bureau, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said in its 24-hour forecast that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Metro Manila’s temperature is 25 to 35 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, 25 to 38 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 17 to 35 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu, 26 to 34 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 26 to 35 degrees Celsius. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
