MANILA — LA Tenorio showed why he is the “Gin-eral”.
Tenorio put up impressive statistics this past week, which was enough for him to be named the Cignal-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Tenorio had a double-double of 16 points and 10 assists to lead the Barangay’s offense in a 134-107 rout of Columbian Dyip last week.
He then showed he can be a defensive threat too, getting five rebounds and five steals as Ginebra shut down Alaska, 105-86, on Sunday.
The 5-10 guard got the nod over teammate Japeth Aguilar, San Miguel’s June Mar Fajardo and Marcio Lassiter, Phoenix’s Matthew Wright, Rain or Shine’s Maverick Ahanmisi and TNT’s Troy Rosario. (Ivan Stewart Saldajeno/PNA)
