DPWH to conduct road repair in QC, Pasig and Caloocan

MANILA, July 28 — The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) is scheduled to conduct road reblocking activities in the cities of Quezon, Pasig and Caloocan starting Friday evening.

In a statement, the department said they will be working on nine major roads in Metro Manila this weekend.

In Quezon City, the affected roads include the second lane, southbound direction of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue near Roosevelt Avenue; second lane of Quirino Highway between T. Urbano and Mindanao Avenue; third lane of Congressional Avenue between Tandang Sora Avenue and Luzon Avenue;

Northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue along Mindanao Tunnel; first lane of Luzon Avenue, westbound direction between Commonwealth Avenue and Congressional Avenue Extension; and, second lane, southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue between Malindang Street and Labo Street.

Likewise, road repairs will be undertaken in the southbound direction of C-5 Road near Julia Vargas and in northbound direction of Manila East Road in front of Ortigas Building de Castro in Pasig City.

On the other hand, the northbound direction of Mac Arthur Highway in Caloocan City near Monumento Circle will also undergo repair.

With this, affected motorists are advised to take alternate route due to expected build-up at the construction areas
