DFA to accommodate passport applicants affected by bad weather

LAOAG CITY—Passport applicants with confirmed appointments but did not show up at the Department of Foreign Affairs-Ilocos Norte on August 24-25, 2018 due to inclement weather can be accommodated anytime starting Tuesday until September 12, 2018.

Edison Ipac, Officer-in-Charge of the DFA-Ilocos Norte confirmed this as the weather condition continues to improve.

“Passport appointees for 24 and 25 August are accommodated anytime starting today, Aug 28 until Sept 12, 2018 only,” said Ipac in a public advisory.

Applicants are further advised to bring a printout of their confirmed passport appointments for the original scheduled dates, along with other requirements for their passport application.
