PNPA sets deadline for cadet admission test on Sept. 24

SILANG, Cavite – Applicants have until 5 p.m. on Sept. 24 to submit their application forms to qualify for the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Cadet Admission Test slated on Oct. 28.

In an advisory received Thursday, exempted to take the PNPA-CAT written examinations are Senior High School graduates with Highest Honors, and College graduates with Latin Honors (“Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude) “provided, his or her application form with certification of honors from his/her School/ College/ University will reach the PNPA Registrar’s Office before August 31”.

It is also specified that the applicants must also satisfy the initial requirements for admission.

To apply, interested individuals must submit a duly accomplished form with an attached photocopy of Phil Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificate through pre-paid express malls (LBC, JRS, 2GO, etc), addressed to The Director (Attn: Office of the Registrar) Philippine Natl Police Academy, Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang, Cavite 4118.

The PNPA CAT will be simultaneously administered in 28 test centers nationwide on Oct. 28 (Sunday), from 7 a.m. to 12nn.

The coverage of PNPCAT includes communication skills, logical reasoning ability, math and sciences, general information and current events.

The PNPA is the premiere public safety institution that hones the country’s future leaders in the police, jail management and penology, and fire protection services.
