Northeast monsoon brings light rains over Luzon

By Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA

MANILA — The northeast monsoon affecting Luzon will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the island, the weather bureau said Sunday.

Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) added.

Moderate to strong winds will blow over north Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
