Easterlies to bring scattered rains Wednesday

MANILA— The easterlies affecting the country would bring scattered rain showers in some parts of the country on Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Eastern Visayas, Masbate, SOCCSKSARGEN, Sorsogon, Albay, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi would have cloudy conditions due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have cloudy skies that would also bring isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the east over the northern and eastern sections of the country. Coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 24-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-30; Baguio City 15-23; Metro Cebu 25-32; and Metro Davao 25-33.
