Easterlies to bring scattered rain showers Thursday

MANILA—The easterlies continue to affect the country Thursday, bringing scattered rain showers in the Visayas and Mindanao.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that central and eastern Visayas, Caraga region, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Davao Occidental, Sarangani, South Cotabato, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi, will have cloudy skies and experience scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Isolated rain showers, due to localized thunderstorms, would prevail in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 24-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-32; Baguio City 15-25; Metro Cebu 28-31; and Metro Davao 25-34.
