GenTri opens “Business One-Stop Shop” for entrepreneurs

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite — Hassle-free transactions with city hall and an overall good business environment is attracting investors to this place, according to the local government.

General Trias City Mayor Antonio “Ony” Ferrer launched on Thursday the ‘GenTri Fast Track Service tagged as a “Business One-Stop Shop” (BOSS) payment scheme for business owners through the city’s Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO).

Ferrer said that through this service, entrepreneurs can apply for and renew their business permits as well as pay their taxes and other fees, thus saving time by concentrating all procedures in one place – at the Audio Visual room, 3rd Floor of the City Hall building.

He said business owners no longer need to hop from one place to another and spend long hours waiting.

“You literally don’t have to leave the place. Instead of you going to the offices, the office comes to you,” the Mayor said.

Ferrer said the expected higher city revenues due to their streamlining efforts will surely translate to better education, health, infrastructure and social services.

Services of the “Business One-Stop-Shop” service will continue until February 8, 2019 during office hours.
