850 Black Nazarene devotees get medical aid during ‘Traslacion’

MANILA — A total of 850 devotees of the Black Nazarene, who joined the traditional “Traslacion” on Wednesday, sought medical treatment and services.

In its latest report as of 3 p.m., the Philippine Red Cross said eight persons suffered “major cases” of lacerations, and experienced difficulty in breathing, and dizziness.

Meanwhile, a total of 224 cases experienced difficulty in breathing, fainting, abrasion, bruises, lacerations, toothache, nose bleeding, sprain, hypoglycemia, and foot swelling.

A total of 50 persons sought psychosocial support while 565 people had their blood pressure monitored.

On the other hand, three devotees were transported to the nearest hospital due to hypertension, fracture, and chest pain.
