AFP defends contract with DITO Telecom

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff Benjamin Madrigal Jr. clarified that the process on the establishment of cell sites near military facilities was duly observed. He averred that the memorandum of agreement on the matter forged by the AFP and Dito Telecommunity Corporation must be signed by him prior to the Department of National Defense’s approval. DND Sec. Lorenzana assured he will thoroughly examine the deal before giving the green light.
