AFP terminates investigation on PSG vaccination

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will not go on with its fact-finding investigation supposedly set to start today on the vaccination of several Presidential Security Group (PSG) members.

According to AFP Spokesperson Major General Edgard Arevalo, the pronouncements of President Rodrigo R. Duterte in his weekly address have been the basis of AFP Chief of Staff General Gilbert Gapay to discontinue the investigation.

“Binabanggit po natin at kinikilala bilang selfless act ang ginawa ng ilang miyembro ng PSG partikular ang mga close-in security ng ating Commander-in-Chief (We are recognizing the selfless act of the several members of the PSG particularly the close-in security of our Commander-in-Chief)”. – Report from Bea Bernardo
