Alvarez names DavNor vice guv as infra pointman

DAVAO CITY – To hasten implementation of infrastructure projects in the second district of Davao del Norte, House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez named Vice Governor Alan Dujali as his pointman for infrastructure projects in the province.

Alvarez named Dujali during the mass oath-taking of PDP-Laban members on Thursday in Panabo City, Davao del Norte where he also promised to give more infrastructure projects, hospitalization assistance – charged to him when they are confined at Davao Medical Center, and free medicines.

Alvarez led the mass oath-taking of new members before an estimated crowd of 8,000.

He noted lack of infra projects for District 2 compared to the neighboring province of Compostela Valley which has massive infrastructure projects, like the construction of a six-lane widening and road concreting initiated by their congressmen.

“Si Vice Governor Dujali ang inyong duolon, siya na’y mo-trabaho, mag-estorya mi ani sa Kongreso kanunay with Comval Congressman Ruwel Gonzaga (You just approach Vice Governor Dujali and he will work for it. We always talk about this in Congress with Cong. Gonzaga),” Alvarez said.

Dujali has been groomed by Alvarez as his congressional bet in District 2 for 2018 elections.

Alvarez also promised ABC president Jose Relampagos sone P4 million allocation for an infra project for Barangay Salvacion. (Cha Monforte/PNA)
