MANILA — Tropical Depression Amang has weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) but it will continue to bring rains over parts of the country on Tuesday.

In its 4 .am. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA was last spotted 195 kilometers east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes.

Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and the provinces of Camiguin, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA.

Meanwhile, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by northeast monsoon.

Fisherfolk and small seacraft are advised not to venture out the seaboards of Northern Luzon and eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon and Visayas due to the surge of northeast monsoon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 23-30 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, 21-29 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 13-24 degrees Celsius; Angeles City, 23-31 degrees Celsius; Lipa City, 23-29 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu, 24-31 degrees Celsius; Metro Davao, 25-31 degrees Celsius.
