By Ma. Cristina Arayata / Philippine News Agency

The northeast monsoon or “amihan” will continue to bring rains across Luzon as well as some areas in the Visayas and Mindanao, the weather bureau said Thursday (Oct. 28).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast cloudy skies with rains to prevail over Caraga and Western and Central Visayas.

Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

As for the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies will also prevail. Isolated rain showers are likely due to localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will be experienced over northern Luzon.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA) – jlo
