Archdiocese of Manila building ‘center for exorcism’ in Makati

The Archdiocese of Manila will soon have its center for exorcism to be called Saint Michael Center for Spiritual Liberation and Exorcism, the “first of its kind in Asia,” as the structure’s construction begins in Makati.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the building took place last May 17 in Bernardino St., cor. EDSA, Guadalupe Viejo, Makati, and was presided over by the Archdiocese of Manila Office on Exorcism (AMOE) Dir. Rev. Fr. Francisco Syquia and  Cardinal Jose Advincula.

“This Center will minister to those in bondage to the devil who are therefore the poorest of the poor and are usually overlooked,” Syquia said.

 

The AMOE thanked its benefactors who have been supporting the establishment of the center.

“Our work of constructing the center is just beginning. May the Lord give back a hundredfold to you and your loved one for your charity and generosity,” it stated.

The center will be the home of the Archdiocese of Manila Commission on Extraordinary Phenomena, the Ministry of Exorcism Office, the Ministry on Visions and Phenomena Office, and will serve as the headquarters of the Philippine Association of Catholic Exorcists. – gb
