ATI starts School-on-the-Air

The Agriculture Training Institute (ATI) will begin airing on Tuesday its training programs for farmers called School-on-the-Air (SOA).

The training and exercises regarding the production of palay and information on modern technology for farming will be included in the airing. According to the DA-ATI, the airing for ATI Ilocos Region will be on June 23 to 27 every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 to 6:30 a.m at DZRD Sonshine Radio.

For ATI Eastern Visayas, it will be on July 15, Wednesday to Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 103.9 Radyo Natin Naval.

For ATI SOCCSKSARGEN, it will air from July to November every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. at DXND Radyo Bida 747, from September to October every Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at DZAS 702 for ATI Calabarzon.

The ATI said it is one of its new ways to teach amid the COVID-19 pandemic and is part of the billion peso fund from the rice competitiveness enhancement program of the government that aims to improve status of farmers and boost food supply in the country. – Report from Cleizl Pardilla
