Authorities seize ₱3M worth of contrabands

The contrabands including Ecstasy and Kush Marijuana were confiscated in separate warehouses in Pasay City. Authorities found around 1,681 Ecstasy Tablets hidden in a microwave oven with an approximate worth of ₱2.8 million while over 100 grams of Kush Marijuana were hidden in a metal toy box with an estimated street value of ₱160,000.

Based on the records, the Ecstasy tablets are from the Netherlands and were supposed to be delivered in Quezon City while the Kush came from the United States and was supposed to be headed for Pasay City.

The contrabands were brought to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). The case profiling and build-up are now in progress. – Report from Kenneth Paciente/NGS-jbb
