Basco, Tablas flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA — Flights to and from Manila and Basco, and between Manila and Tablas, Romblon were cancelled due to the inclement weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

As of Sunday afternoon, the cancelled flights were CebGo’s (DG) 6009/6010 Manila-Basco-Manila, and DG 6073/6074 Manila-Tablas-Manila.

Meanwhile, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier said the southwest monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas will continue to bring monsoon rains over Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon.

According to the latest bulletin from PAGASA, tropical storm “Yagi” (local name “Karding”) was last eyed at 600 kilometers north northeast of extreme northern Luzon, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
