Bike ramps installed in footbridges, underpass in Quezon City

By Gabriela Baron

The Quezon City Government installed bike ramps at the Quezon Memorial Circle and 40 other footbridges around the city.

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte said it is one of the local government’s initiatives to ensure the safety of cyclists in the city.

“Isa lamang ito sa mga proyektong ipinatutupad ng lokal na pamahalaan para sa kapakanan ng mga siklista dahil ang QC ay isang bike-friendly city,” Belmonte added.

“The city government encourages QCitizens to ride bicycles and use alternative transportation because besides being eco-friendly and affordable, it improves health as exercise,” QC Government wrote on Facebook.
