BOQ opens satellite office in QC

The Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) on Tuesday (Sep. 14) officially opened a satellite office in Quezon City.

The BOQ is expected to serve more overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) that will acquire their yellow card, which is proof of their COVID-19 fully vaccinated status before leaving the country, in its new satellite office in Eastwood, Q.C.

The newly opened office can now serve up to 500 individuals per day compared to the 200 individuals served per day before its official opening. The bureau was given a permanent space inside a mall where the fully vaccinated OFWs can acquire their certificate of vaccination or yellow card as well as other certificates.

Walk-ins are not allowed to avoid crowding and to ensure the compliance with the minimum health protocols. The bureau requires a pre-book appointment and ₱370 for the documentary and convenience fee.

The BOQ said more than 2,000 yellow cards nationwide will be released per day due to the opening of satellite offices.
