CAAP, pinalalayo ang mga flights mula sa nag-aalborotong bulkang Taal

Ipinagbabawal pa rin ang paglipad sa mismong ibabaw ng bulkang Taal nitong Sabado (Hulyo 3) dahil sa patuloy nitong paglalabas ng abo, ayon sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Nakasaad sa inilabas na Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) ng CAAP nitong Sabado, 8:55 n.u., na dapat may layong flight level 100 from surface ang mga eroplano para makasigurong ligtas ang paglipad ng mga ito.

Una nang naglabas ng NOTAM ang CAAP noong Biyernes (Hulyo 2) kung saan ipinagbabawal ang paglapit ng mga sasakyang panghimpapawid sa loob ng 5 nautical mile radius ng bulkang Taal hanggang 9:00 n.u. nitong Sabado.

Samantala, wala pang kinakanselang flights ang CAAP sa kabila ng banta ng pagsabog ng bulkang Taal.

Nananatili pa rin sa Alert Level 3 ang bulkan na nangangahulugang may mataas na aktibidad dito. – Ulat ni Louisa Erispe / CF- rir
