Cagayan faces devastating flood

The heavy rainfall brought about by northeast monsoon has caused terrible flood in some areas of the Cagayan province. The response team there already initiated preemptive evacuation resulting in over 2,000 evacuees staying in the evacuation centers. The waters of the Cagayan River in the vicinity of the Buntun Bridge is now 11.2 meters high, causing it to be in critical height. The Provincial Government of Cagayan suspended the classes in all levels in the area.
