MANILA – The low-pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is unlikely to enter the country, the weather bureau said Thursday, Feb. 10.

MANILA – Isolated light rains across the Visayas and Luzon are expected Monday, Feb. 7, due to the prevailing northeast monsoon or "amihan", the weather bureau said.
There is a northeast monsoon that will be affecting Luzon this Sunday (Feb. 6), bringing light rains and isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported in its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin.
MANILA – Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail in Palawan and Mindanao due to the trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) while the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will bring isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon on Saturday, Feb. 5.
