Some areas in the country will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the trough of Typhoon Nyatoh which is outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), the weather bureau said Thursday (Dec. 1).
MANILA – The northeast monsoon affecting northern and central Luzon and the easterlies affecting the rest of the country will cause isolated rain showers on Tuesday (Nov.23), the weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday (Nov. 21) said cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the eastern section of Southern Luzon due to shear line, also known as the tail-end of the frontal system.
The northeast monsoon or amihan and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring rain showers across Luzon and the Zamboanga Peninsula, the weather bureau said Wednesday (Nov. 17).
