Many areas in Luzon continue to experience heavy rains and strong winds on Saturday afternoon due to Severe Tropical Storm Paeng, which is now moving over San Pablo City in Laguna province.
Severe Tropical Storm Paeng maintained its strength as it made its fourth landfall in Santa Cruz town in the province of Marinduque at about 8:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
More areas have been placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 due to Tropical Storm ‘Paeng’ which is forecast to intensify and become a severe tropical storm in the next 12 hours.
Tropical cyclone Paeng has intensified into a tropical storm, now packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center, and gustiness of up to 80 kph, the weather bureau said Thursday, Oct. 27.
