The southwest monsoon or “habagat” may still affect most parts of the country particularly western sections of southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday.
A low pressure area (LPA), last tracked 280 kilometers east of Davao City, and the southwest monsoon or habagat will bring rain showers over some parts of the country, the weather bureau said Tuesday.
Western sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to low pressure area (LPA) and southwest monsoon or “habagat.”
