Most parts of the country will experience fair weather as Typhoon "Hinnamnor" continues to move away from the country but the southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring scattered rain showers over Luzon, the weather bureau said Monday, Sept. 5.
Typhoon Hinnamnor (formerly Typhoon Henry) exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, but still expected to enhance southwest monsoon or “habagat."
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 remains hoisted over Batanes and TCWS No. 1 over Babuyan Islands and Sta. Ana, Cagayan as Typhoon Henry maintains its strength as it accelerates northward as of 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3.
Typhoon Henry (Hinnamnor) continues to pummel Batanes and Babuyan Islands with heavy rains and gusty winds as it continues to slow down over the Philippine Sea Friday, the weather bureau said.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 has been hoisted over Batanes and the northeastern portion of Babuyan Islands as of 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, due to Super Typhoon “Henry.”
The trough of Super Typhoon Henry and the southwest monsoon or "habagat" will bring rains across Luzon and Western Visayas, the weather bureau said Thursday, Sept. 1.
