The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is set to inspect several medical schools to ensure their preparedness for the limited face-to-face classes.
According to CHED Chairperson Prospero De Vera III, classrooms and other facilities will be particularly inspected to make sure that physical distancing will be implemented.
He reiterated that only the subjects that require actual practice or interaction are allowed to be conducted face-to-face.
Only students with ages 20 and above are allowed in the said classes. However, students cannot be forced to attend such classes and the school should have an alternative educational set-up. De Vera also pointed out that the schools must coordinate with the local governments first before opening physical classes. – PTV News
